Dreo publishes 300 sq ft. At the standard 10 W per square foot that would need 3,000 W, and this heater is 1,500 W — so the claim is roughly double what the sizing rule supports. In this category, that is unusually restrained.

The claim is best read as “can meaningfully raise the temperature of a 300 sq ft room”, which a well-placed oscillating 1,500 W tower genuinely can do in a house whose main system is already running. It is not a claim that it will take a cold 300 sq ft room to a setpoint on its own, and nothing at 1,500 W will. What 1,500 W actually covers.
